Advent Wreath Paper Craft
Liturgical Year activity: build a simple paper wreath with four candles to count the weeks of Advent.

Learning goals
- Name the four weeks of Advent
- Explain that Advent is a time of hope and preparation for Christmas
- Connect the wreath candles to prayer at home
Supplies (per child)
- Printed wreath template on card stock
- Purple and pink crayons or paper strips
- Scissors, glue stick
- Flame shapes (yellow paper) or draw with marker
Steps
- Color three candles purple and one pink (Gaudete Sunday).
- Cut out wreath and candle pieces; glue to a paper plate base if desired.
- Each week, “light” one flame (attach or flip up) during opening prayer.
